Taxi from St. Barth Airport to Grand Cul-de-Sac
Direct transfer from Gustaf III Airport (SBH) to Grand Cul-de-Sac. About 12 minutes, around 35 euros.
Pulled from the 2024 official fare schedule. The Collectivité has not released a 2025 update yet. Most drivers stick close to these prices, with small variations during high season.
From St. Barth airport to Grand Cul-de-Sac, what to expect
Grand Cul-de-Sac is a calm, shallow lagoon on the eastern side of the island, popular for kitesurfing, paddleboarding and family swimming. Le Sereno and Le Guanahani sit on this bay.
From the moment we step out of the SBH terminal, Grand Cul-de-Sac is roughly 12 minutes away. The standard daytime fare hovers around 35 euros. After 6:30pm, on Sundays and on public holidays, plan an extra 5 euros. Between midnight and 6am the surcharge climbs to 10 euros, but very few drivers operate that late so we always pre-book in that case.
Same logic at the ferry dock in Gustavia, especially when the St. Martin or St. Kitts boats arrive. The cabs you see waiting are usually attached to passengers already. We have seen plenty of confused tourists hop in and get a polite but firm "no, sorry" from the driver.
Two ways that actually work
There is no Uber or Lyft on the island. We either call a driver ourselves, or our concierge matches us with one. Both are free.
